He was born in 1986 in Erzurum. After graduating from primary and secondary school in Erzurum, he completed his high school education at Bayburt Anatolian Teacher High School as a free boarding student. He graduated from the International Relations Department of the Political Sciences Faculty, Mülkiye, of Ankara University. He prepared his master study on Ottoman Foreign Policy. His doctoral thesis is titled Socialist Left and Nationalism in Turkey (1960-1971). Main areas of interest; nationalism, Turkish political life, Turkish foreign policy and Turkish thought. He was the editor-in-chief of Türkiye Notes magazine. Two copyrighted books with the titles ofOttoman Foreign Policy 1908-1913, Nationalism (History, Theory and Basic Issues). He has articles and editorships in books on Turkish political life and Turkish thought. He is a faculty member at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Department of Sociology. With a temporary assignment, he continues to serve as the Colombian country representative of the Turkish Maarif Foundation. He is married and has a child.
